This recipe is inspired by my oldest sister, Abbey. She loves mint and has a pool therefore making her a mojito expert
She has made them for several years, and about a 100 different ways…frozen, iced, no ice, mint in the ice. You get the picture. She was telling me the other day that she was taking my margarita recipe and turning it into mojitos….only Abbey! I love it. So I did some r&d in the kitchen and this is what I have come up with for a delicious summer frozen mojito recipe! Enjoy…you will LOVE these green beauties. Just try to refrain from making these first thing in the morning people…not a green juicee
1. In a blender, blend frozen limeade mix with fresh mint. Add lime zest.
2. While blending on low, add in the alcohol and simple syrup. Add ice to blender and blend on high until mixed well. You may want to break this up into two batches, in my blender…it makes about a blender & a half. Simply dived the liquid in half before adding ice and then add 5 cups of ice to each half.

3. Add fresh mint for garnish & serve!
Frozen Mojito:
1 (12 oz) can frozen limeade mix
1/2 cup packed fresh spearmint (the regular kind of mint)
1 lime zested
White Rum – 6 oz (1/2 limeade can), or 9 oz (3/4 limeade can) 0r 12 oz (full limeade can) *see not below
1/2 can (limeade can) filled up with simple syrup -recipe found here vanilla bean simple syrup
10 cups of ice
*6 oz = at the pool with your kids
9 oz = dinner drinks
12 oz = bachelorette party
This is my rule of thumb for these yummy frozen drinks

Best mojito I’ve ever had! Made me want to go soak up some sunshine and put my toes in the sand
